Rachel Khoo, a TV chef, is known for providing recipes, cooking advice, and information about her shows, as well as butter.
Rachel Khoo is very reserved about her personal life, even though she is quite open about her professional efforts and kitchen hijinks.
In 2015, Khoo married Swedishman Robert Wiktorin and relocated to Stockholm. Khoo and her husband have two children, but they’ve kept their personal lives so private that even lifelong fans of the chef wonder if she has a child.
Rachel Khoo Kept Her Pregnancy a Secret From the Public
Their first child, a boy, was born to the couple in 2016. Khoo revealed she was expecting a child on her website and explained why she kept her pregnancy a secret.
Keeping a secret wasn’t easy with filming to complete, social media to maintain, and events to attend. High-waisted skirts were essential, as were cleverly placed pillows and laptops. Khoo also stated that she intended to keep the happy news to herself until she was ready to share it with the rest of the world. She also mentioned that it was good to be able to simply enjoy the moment rather than having to broadcast it every day on social media.
Rachel Khoo is a fiercely protective mother
Khoo did not disclose her pregnancy until after she had given birth. The chef’s second pregnancy was even more of a mystery, since she kept it under wraps.
In a September 2020 interview with The Huffington Post, she revealed that her second kid was eighteen months old at the time, making her second child’s birthdate in early 2019. The Little Paris Kitchen star has kept her second child’s gender a secret until now. She rarely discusses her children on the radio or on social media.
Robert Wiktorin & Rachel Khoo
Before they fell in love, Khoo and Wiktorin met at a party. He’s been quite helpful to her. Apart from the cleaner air, the TV chef spoke to Dailymail about the benefits of residing in Stockholm.
Taxes are high, but you get a good return on your investment. The health-care and social-services systems are fantastic. After the birth of our baby, my husband, Robert, took nine months off work, which allowed me to finish The Little Swedish Kitchen.
Khoo affectionately referred to her husband as a vivid yellow pot and that she enjoyed cooking with him during her marriage announcement on Khoollect. She had made the same remark when she first announced her pregnancy.
Culinary Journey of Rachel Khoo
From a young age, Khoo has had a fascination for cooking. Her mother is her food idol, she says, because she always cooks delicious meals on a budget. She relocated to Paris as she got older to follow her culinary ambitions and studied at Le Cordon Bleu.
Khoo started her career as a TV chef in 2012 with The Little Paris Kitchen: Cooking with Rachel Khoo, where she opened her own restaurant. She has been in numerous food programs since then, and in 2021, she became a member of the judging panel for The Great British Menu.
