Anthony Lemke was born in Ottawa, Canada as Roger Anthony Lemke. Every year on October 7th, he celebrates his birthday. However, he has not made his age or birth year public knowledge.

Anthony attended the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada, where he studied theatre. He also earned a Distinction from the McGill University Faculty of Law and degrees in both common law and civil law.

Career

Anthony’s acting career began with a role in a production of the play Nurse Jane Goes to Hawaii. In 1997, he was cast in the drama series La Femme Nikita.

Following minor roles in television series, he landed the pivotal role of Captain Marcus Grisham in the American television series The Queen of Swords in 2000. Variety Magazine dubbed this series a “guilty pleasure.”

In 2003, Anthony, who stands 6’1″ (1.85m) tall, enrolled in law school at McGill University in Montreal. In the meantime, he continued his acting career, landing regular roles on the Montreal-produced series 15/Love (season 3) and A Life Interrupted, which was nominated for Best TV Movie at the 2008 Gemini Awards.

Anthony has a long list of credits in both English and French since returning to acting full-time after law school.

In 2011, Anthony joined the casts of Lost Girl and Blue Mountain State, both of which were shot in Montreal. The same year, Anthony played Le Vulgaire in the bilingual film Rouge Sang, which received three Canadian Screen Award nominations.

In 2014, he returned to CTV and Fox International’s The Listener for the fifth season, reprising his role as Brian Becker from season one.

Lemke also began a seven-episode two-season run as SQ Officer Dan Malloy on Bravo’s police drama 19-2. The series was nominated for ten Canadian Screen Awards, including best dramatic series.

In 2015, he landed the role of Marcus Boone in Dark Matter, for which he received widespread acclaim and fame. Anthony currently plays Victor in the TV series Blindspot.
