Stewart Francis, a Canadian comedian, actor, and writer, was born and raised in Toronto to parents of British descent; his mother is Scottish, and his father is English.
Stewart was living a normal life in Canada with his family until a series of strange occurrences rocked his world. Rip Tyde, a Canadian actor, abducted his mother when he was only six years old. That was not the case!
Following that, his father, a scientist, was arrested for conducting illegal insect experiments. With a string of misfortunes strangling young Stewart, he had no choice but to make a living for himself. That’s when he decided to pursue a career in comedy.
Career
Stewart decided to become a comedian when he was six years old. His dream was cut short, however, when the local comedy club turned down his request, urging him to return when he was 18.
Stewart, on the other hand, didn’t let his age limit his career when he discovered another comedy club where talent was valued more than age.
Francis took his stand-up career to new heights by gradually developing a professional attitude and headlining all over North America and the United Kingdom. He performed at the Portsmouth Guildhall, the New Theatre in Oxford, the Brighton Centre, and the O2 Arena in Dublin.

Stewart was also an actor, having appeared as a series regular on An American in Canada, a Canadian TV sitcom that aired in 2003 and 2004. In 2007, he also appeared on the BBC sitcom Not Going Out for one episode.
Stewart has decided to retire from stand-up comedy touring in the UK and North America, with his final comedy journey taking place between October and December of 2018. He made the decision after considering focusing on his acting career.
