The Daily Northwestern was where American journalist David Weigel began his writing career. Later, he rose to the position of chief editor of Northwestern Chronicle, a conservative college publication. He enrolled as a Republican in Washington, D.C., at the beginning of 2007. Later, he accepted a writing position for a section of The Washington Post’s website that covered the conservative movement.
After receiving accolades for his work, he was later hired to contribute his voice to the paper’s political reporting. His 2010 firing came as a result of one of his tweets when he was employed by The Washington Post, in which he referred to same-sex marriage supporters as “bigots.” After making amends, he joined Bloomberg Politics. He was rehired by The Washington Post in less than a year.
It serves as a testament to David Weigel’s commercial viability in the journalism industry. David is a well-respected blogger and journalist who is respected by major US media publications including Slate, Bloomberg Politics, and of course The Washington Post. Despite his reputation for stirring up controversy, such as the one over gay marriage, David is known for his ability to stir up controversy.
He writes on politics for a living, and his opinion section and blogs are followed by thousands of readers and followers both in the US and abroad. He had unexpectedly gone to England when he was just about 17 years old, and it was not unexpected that he returned to the United States, his birth country, in 2000.
David Weigel’s: Married?
He keeps his personal affairs very private and has never acknowledged being married or having a wife. He tweeted once, on April 10, 2013, stating that he is married to Tim Johnson and discussing homosexual issues, but other than that, he has been silent. Even more, he said he was single and that no girl had ever been linked to him in a post.
Despite his apparent success in the political blogosphere, his love life and dating seem to occasionally take detours. Because he has been spending so much time watching movies—or, to be more accurate, critiquing them—David does have breakups occasionally or has recently experienced one. So much so that he continued to compile a lengthy list of films for which, if we choose to read, he has written reviews. People are aware that sharing pictures of your girlfriends hugging you takes up valuable time when time is money. At this point, it is only difficult to tell who his girlfriend is, however, it is easy to tell what his favorite movies are.
