Former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry, also known as Brittany May McHenry, is a contributor to The Federalist and Fox News Channel. She is the Washington, D.C.-based “Like It or Not” host for WTTG Fox 5.
Britt McHenry is another well-known personality in journalism who frequently finds himself in hot water. When a video of her cursing and using obscene language toward a towing garage lot worker surfaced, ESPN suspended her.
Britt continues to be adored by her admirers, especially those who follow her on social networking sites, despite all the controversy that has surrounded her.
Is Britt McHenry Married Or Single?
On April 2, 2015, Britt posted a photo to Instagram along with the caption, “I’ll marry the one who shares my excessive love of cheap Chili’s queso.”
As she is now officially off the market, it appears that the reporter has finally found that kind of person.
Tennys Sandgren, an American professional tennis player, is supposedly dating Britt. In June 2018, the couple’s relationship was initially made public through Britt’s Instagram account.
On June 4, 2018, Britt posted a photo to Instagram featuring Tennys. She stated in the caption that supporting her partner was simple despite the French Open’s prohibition on beer sales.
Britt’s photo in front of the Eiffel Tower showed that she was visiting Paris, the city of love, to support her partner.
Additionally, on July 4, 2018, Britt uploaded a photo to Instagram showing her and her partner enjoying the holiday at The Scotch Whisky Experience, the world’s largest collection of Scottish whiskey.
Although Tennys and Britt frequently share photos together, Tennys has yet to publish any of their jointly taken photos on social media. He could prefer to keep his private affairs out of the public eye.
However, it appears from the photos Britt posts that the couple is enjoying their relationship. Watching the two get married and refer to one another as “husband and life” would be enjoyable.
Sadly, it appears that the couple has called off their engagement. Photos of her and him from her Instagram account have been deleted, and she is not present on Tenny’s account either.
She did, however, share a photo on Valentine’s Day of 2019 wishing James Dillard a happy day. She shared a photo of herself and her dog Foxy, who she had adopted six years earlier, the same day.
She hasn’t stated why she broke up with Tennys, but it appears that she has forgotten about him.
She hasn’t appeared on James’ Instagram, either, as he hasn’t shared a single photo of them together. Perhaps both of their supporters are anticipating their public declaration of their union.
Britt’s Verbal Abuse Controversy
On April 16, 2015, LiveLeak published a video of Britt using profanity to verbally abuse Joey Dillon, a tow lot employee.
In the video, Britt made fun of the employee’s looks, his work, and his educational background. Many audiences lambasted Britt after the occurrence. Due to her harsh statements, her previous employer, ESPN, also fired her for one week.
Later, after realizing her error, Britt apologized for her conduct on Twitter. She apologized for her conduct and claimed that she was sorry for letting her emotions get the better of her and saying some offensive things.
The towing company afterward issued a statement claiming that they did not want the reporter to be fired or punished as a result of her remarks.
She removed the tweets, but other users screen-captured the comments. She was fired by ESP in 2017 as a result of the racial insult, and she later complained that her conservative beliefs had been suppressed.
Britt McHenry’s Bio: Career, Family
Britt, who is 32 years old, was born on May 28, 1986, in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey. She is a Lieutenant Colonel’s daughter in the Air Force.
Other than that, not much is known about her parents and other relatives.
Britt, who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, attended Stetson University after graduating from Satellite High School in Florida in 2004. She played soccer on teams in both locales.
She attended the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University after receiving a magna cum laude from Stetson and started reporting stories in Chicago.
At WJLA-TV, where Jamie Gangel was an assignment editor, Britt began her career as a sports reporter and stand-in anchor. While Kris Van Cleave worked as an anchor and reporter for ABC Television in Washington, she also worked for its sister station NewsChannel 8.
She spent just two weeks with Fox Sports San Diego as a dugout reporter before going back to ABC 7, where Maggie Rulli was a news reporter.
Alongside Sarah Barshop, she departed ABC7 in 2014 to work as a bureau reporter for ESPN in Washington, D.C. She served as a correspondent for several programs there, including Baseball Tonight, NFL Live, SportsCenter, and Outside the Lines. ESPN reporters make an average of $85,000 a year.
However, Britt revealed on Twitter on April 27, 2017, that ESPN was firing her, with the NFL Draft serving as her final project. She has been working for the Fox News Channel since.
Britt has undoubtedly amassed a sizable sum of money during her career as a reporter and conservative commentator. Her income and wealth, however, are only known to the media.
