Maddy Curley is best known for her roles as Mina Hoyt in Stick It and Apple in the gymnastics comedy Chalk It Up. Furthermore, the actress has not only achieved success in her career but also in her personal life.
Maddy was born Madelyn Jane Curley on December 3, 1981 in Tallahassee, Florida, USA. Later, she and her sister, Jessica, as well as the rest of the family, relocated to Los Angeles, California.
Maddy was interested in gymnastics from a young age, and her gymnastics career began when she was four years old. Furthermore, Maddy received a full gymnastics scholarship to compete for the University of North Carolina. She was also a four-time Academic All-American and a member of Phi Beta Kappa at the university.

For ten years, Maddy coached gymnasts ranging in age from two to 65, eventually earning her gymnastics certification. She was a four-time Level 10 National qualifier and won Elite Nationals in 1999 during her gymnastics career.
Maddy made her film acting debut after graduation in Disney’s “Stick It,” which was released by Touchstone Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment.
She worked on her acting debut for several years and appeared in a number of TV shows and short films, including Seized, The Hero, Cold Case, The Event, and many others.
Maddy first competed in a CrossFit competition at SoCal’s 2010 Sectionals, finishing second. After a year, she and her team finished fifth at the 2011 CrossFit Games.
