Riz Ahmed is a British-Pakistani actor, rapper, and activist who is 36 years old. In September 2017, he became the first South Asian male actor to win an Emmy for his performance in The Night Of in 2016.
He has also been nominated for a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award, three British Independent Film Awards, a Shooting Stars Award, and a few others.
Riz is known by his hip-hop stage name, Riz MC, in addition to his incredible acting career that has brought him so much fame. After releasing his first hip-hop single, Post 9/11 Blues, a controversial satire, in 2006, it was temporarily banned from British airplay.
However, his project piqued the interest of satirist Christopher Morris, who cast him in the Bafta-winning film Four Lions. Following that, he began his golden years in the industry.
