Professional Career

When he was five years old, he started playing football with his hometown team, Loan, and he did so until 2003. He enrolled in the Olimpija youth program when he was ten years old in 2003, and he remained there until the club’s dissolution following the 2004–05 season.

Olimpija Ljubljana

In 2005, he moved to Beigrad, a recently founded city. Beigrad underwent a number of name changes until becoming Olimpija Ljubljana in 2008. At the age of 16, he made his Olimpija Ljubljana professional debut on May 17, 2009, in a 7-2 victory over Mura 05 in the Slovenian Second League.
