Beginning of ZZ Top
Members Billy Gibbons, Lanier Greig, and Dan Mitchell established ZZ Top in 1969. Billy was in charge of lead vocals and guitars, Lanier was the group’s bassist and organist, and Dan was in charge of drums and percussion.
