On July 13, 1969, he was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He was born and raised in northern California to South Korean immigrants. D.K. Jeong, an economics professor at North Carolina A&T State University, gave birth to him.

Among his most well-known roles are Knocked Up (2007), Role Models (2008), Furry Vengeance (2010), Ride Along 2 (2016), Crazy Rich Asians (2018), The Hangover film series (2009–2013), and Community (2009–2015).

He also played Dr. Ken in the ABC comedy Dr. Ken from 2015 to 2017. He is a doctor who left his practice to pursue a career in acting.

His wife was the one who convinced him to give up his medical career and pursue a career in acting. Zooey’s mother, Tran ho, is a Vietnamese-American family physician. On February 24, 1972, she was born in the United States.

Tran was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, when her daughter was only a year old, after noticing lumps on her breast while nursing her children. At Stage 3, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer.

Tran, on the other hand, fought cancer valiantly and triumphantly, emerging as a survivor and cancer-free in 2009. Her husband came to her aid when she was fighting cancer.

He was looking after their children while also driving Tran to the hospital and making sure she was okay. Zooey Jeong’s twin sister is Alexa Jeong. Both sisters have a strong bond and are very close.

How Did Ken Jeong and Tran Ho get together?

Ken and Tran first met while both working at Kaiser Permanente. They collaborated at the hospital. Their friendship grew gradually, and they began dating. Following a period of dating, they decided to take the next step in their relationship and marry.

Jimmy congratulated Zooey Jeong’s father

Jimmy congratulated Zooey Jeong’s father, Ken Jeong, on the success of his film ‘Crazy Rich Asians,’ which grossed over $240 million worldwide. “It earned $242.89 million and $174 million domestically, but it doesn’t matter,” Ken remarked sarcastically.

When Jimmy asked why he wasn’t in the film, Ken explained that due to scheduling and other projects that may or may not have worked out, the conclusion of his show ‘Dr. Ken’ allowed him to focus on the film. He continued, saying it is one of the most rewarding projects he has ever worked on.

They then talked about ‘The Masked Singer.’ Ken mentioned that it was a number one program in Korea and that his mother was a big fan of the show, so when the opportunity to be a panelist came up, his mother pushed him to do it.

Jimmy was surprised to learn that the name for his Netflix stand-up special, ‘You Complete Me Ho,’ was suggested by his wife. It’s a love letter to his wife, according to Ken, and the title ‘The First Date’ was inspired by ‘The Ice House’ in Pasadena, where he played and where his wife first saw him perform.

How are the bonds between Ken and his twin daughters, Zooey and Alexa?

Zooey and Alexa, Ken’s twin daughters, have a special bond with him. Ken wrote an open letter to his children on Father’s Day. He talked about the qualities he admires the most in them, as well as his favorite time of day to spend with them.

Ken considered them and his wife to be the most valuable gifts he had ever received. In an interview with ‘Life of Dad,’ Ken mentioned that his twins enjoy watching ‘Community.’ Despite the fact that he is very particular about which episodes they watch. He is flattered that people enjoy the show’s wit, even if it isn’t his.

Zooey’s father revealed that he doesn’t like tattoos on Ellen Show

Zooey’s father virtually interviewed Ellen on her show. During the conversation, the host revealed that Ken’s fans had tattooed his face on their arms, calf, and foot.

Ken expresses his displeasure with tattoos on his calves and shares his love for tattoos on the front of his legs.

That’s just how he is, Ken added. After seeing one of his fans with a foot tattoo, Ken stated that’s where he naturally belongs.

He also stated that his twin daughters, who are in their adolescent years, do not consider him cool. Ken stated that if you are a comedian with teenage daughters, they will mute you on Twitter as well as block you on Instagram at this time.

Ken admitted that he is at that point in his life with his daughters. Ken also stated that their children watch his shows, but for different reasons.

Ken also revealed about his show Community, where his daughters asked if it was okay for him to prefer other characters over their father. Finally, he showed off his adorable dog, Mocha.
