Jamell was born on May 1, 1999, in Gifford, Florida. Jamie Demons, he says, raised him as a single mother. However, a rapper named Donte Taylor claims to be his father. His mother became pregnant when she was fourteen and in ninth grade. She struggled to pay rent and other needs while she raised him in a poorer section of Gifford.
