Cleo Rose Elliott is a singer, guitarist, and model with a lot of potentials. Her debut solo, ‘No More Lies,’ became an instant hit when she was just 24 years old.
She has since recorded a number of tracks and established a name in the music industry.
The singer, however, is known for more than simply her voice. From the moment she was born, Cleo was a celebrity. She is the daughter of Sam Elliott, an Oscar nominee, and Katharine Ross, an actress.
Cleo’s connection with her mother is not very healthy, despite the fact that she is the only child of the famous pair. Cleo, Katharine’s daughter, was even served with a restraining order.
Cleo Had Allegedly Stabbed Her Mother at Least Half a Dozen Times
Katharine reported in a restraining order filed in March 2011 that her daughter Cleo had been abused as a youngster and had turned aggressive when she was 12 or 13 years old.
“[Cleo] verbally and emotionally tortured me since I was a little girl,” The Graduate star said.

After Cleo allegedly slashed Katharine with scissors and Katharine filed a restraining order against her daughter, the sourness in their relationship became public knowledge.
According to the 81-year-old actress, her daughter suddenly became enraged and began muttering, “I want to murder you.” Cleo then kicked the closet door shut, and when Katharine tried to call the cops, Cleo used scissors to cut the phone cord.
Cleo then stabbed her six times in the right arm, threatening to hit her in the eye with the scissors.
“[Cleo stabbed] with enough force to penetrate my skin through my clothing and leave marks that are still visible today,” Katharine said in her statement.
Katharine applied for a protective order following the event, and the court set a hearing date for March 30, 2011. Cleo was told to keep at least 100 yards away from her mother’s house, office, and automobile until the hearing.
Cleo’s Relationship with Her Mother Seems to Be Improving
Despite the fact that Cleo, 36, and her mother shared a memorable moment, it appears that they have finally put their differences aside.
The mother-daughter duo has been spotted together at a number of events and award presentations, implying that their relationship is improving.
They were photographed together on the red carpet for the film The Hero, which stars Cleo’s parents, during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. An interviewer inquired about her parents at the event.
Cleo responded that she was proud of her parents because they were both outstanding actors.
Cleo and her mother, Katharine, were spotted together once again at the premiere of A Star Is Born on September 24, 2018.
