Edith Mack Hirsch was born on April 15, 1917, in Illinois, USA. Her life has remained a mystery. Despite having a difficult time accessing schooling while growing up in the United States, Edith managed to smuggle in a few words at the local secondary school in Illinois.

Three years after his divorce from Lucille Ball, she first met Arnaz, and the two clicked right away.
