The art critic was born in Basingstoke, Hemisphere, on January 12, 1954. After World War 2, his parents—Polish refugees—came to England. His father, unfortunately, passed away at age 57 in a train accident after working as a railway carriage cleaning.

He attended St. Anne’s Primary School when he was younger before enrolling in Divine Mercy College, which was created especially for children of Polish refugees. The art critic enrolled at the University of Manchester to pursue his passion for art and pursue a degree in art history.

The critic had struggled with a bulge for most of his life and was in grave physical distress. But he might lose 14 kilograms if he had a clinic checkup, followed a healthy diet, and exercised regularly.
