Suzette Snider, well-known as the rock star Dee Snider’s wife, is commemorating their 45 years of marriage. Additionally, their ongoing romance is clear from their social media accounts, where they constantly share their love for one another.
Suzette Snider’s Married Life
When the two first met, Suzette Snider was fifteen years old and Dee was twenty-one years old. Dee and Snider quickly began dating after falling in love.
On October 23, 1981, Snider and Dee took their relationship one step further by exchanging vows to become husband and wife. And even after four decades of marriage, their love remains fresh.
On April 17, 2021, Dee shared the news of his and his wife’s 45th anniversary on his Instagram account and professed his love for her. He posted a photo of himself and his companion, and in the message, he expressed his adoration and affection for her.
Tonight, 45 years ago, I met the woman of my dreams and clung to her for dear life. She is entirely responsible for any good deeds I have done in this world. I will always love you, Suzette!
The couple spoke with OWN in April 2015 about their early connection. Dee recalled how he fell head over head for her as soon as he met her, but Snider showed absolutely no interest in him.
Dee gave it his all to win Snider’s heart because he was deeply in love with her. Dee was in poor health later in the 1980s due to his LSD condition. But they managed to maintain their romance despite a few trying years.
In addition, when asked about his thoughts on the secret to a successful relationship by the interviewer, Dee stated,
You should never take your spouse for granted because it’s constantly a work in progress. You should never take for granted that a relationship will always be the same. Life evolves. You are impacted by life. And you need to be interested enough to put in the effort necessary to win over your most prized admirer.
Snider concurred with Dee and added her viewpoint, adding,
I think the secret to a happy marriage or relationship, in general, is to always remember the first, second, or third date when everything was fresh and exciting and you literally dreamt about meeting and experiencing the butterflies in your stomach that come from seeing one other. That is, in my opinion, how you keep it going.
Suzette Snider Children
From their lengthy partnership, Snider and Dee had four children: a daughter and four sons.
Jesse Blaze Snider, their first child, was born in 1982. Shane Royal Snider, their second child, was also born in 1988. After the advent of Cody Blue Snider in 1989 and Cheyenne Jean Snider in 1996, the family of four later grew to five.
Their line of employment is acting, and Shane is well-known for his roles in Fool’s Day, Calicoon, and The History of Future Folks. Like Jesse, Cody is a director and screenwriter, and both are voice actors, radio hosts, and comic book writers.
