Shannyn Sossamon is a seasoned American actress who has appeared in both television and cinema. She is best known for portraying Beth Raymond in the 2008 film One Missed Call and Courtney Collins in the 2015 thriller Sinister 2.
Her portrayal as Jocelyn in the popular 2001 film A Knight’s Tale marked her huge break into the film industry. She appeared on screen with the late Heath Ledger in it. She received three nominations for her performance at the 2002 MTV Movie + TV Awards and two nominations for it at the 2001 Teen Choice Awards.

Todd Lindberg, Shannyn Sossamon’s father, and Sherry Sossamon, her mother, reared her in Reno, Nevada. She identifies as a mixed-race person, with Native Hawaiian, Filipino, English, and German ancestry on her mother’s side and French and Irish on her father’s. Unfortunately, her parents divorced, and her mother later wed Randy Goldstein.

On May 29, 2003, while they were still dating, a boy named Audio Science Clayton was born.
However, the couple’s two-year romance ended just 10 months after the birth of their child, proving that they weren’t meant to be together forever.
She spent some time with Richard Purser after her breakup with Dallas Clayton. She gave birth to Mortimer, her second child, and Richard in December 2011. However, her relationship with Richard also didn’t endure very long, and they parted ways.

Shannyn Sossamon’s first career goals were to be a DJ and dancer. She even relocated to Los Angeles for that. She switched to acting, though, after being noticed and assisted by a director by the name of Brian Helgeland.
After that, she played for the first time on television in 1997’s Mr. Show with Bob and David. She then appeared in a few brief videos before making her big-screen debut in 2001’s A Knight’s Tale.
She appeared in multiple films after her breakout performance, including Ghost Light (2013), Stealing Time (2013), Life Is Hot in Cracktown(2009), 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), and Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006). (2018). Her TV series credits include Sleepy Hollow (2010), How to Make It in America (2010), Moonlight (2007–2008), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2004). (2015-16).
