“People are constantly yanking and pulling on him, wanting your attention. He was gone for eight to ten weeks at a time. When he returned home, there would be number-one parties, shows, CMAs, ACMs, American Music Awards, and so on. But we both drifted apart very quickly.”
AD Mahl also stated that her and Brooks’ divorce was unavoidable. The mother of three revealed in the documentary Garth Brooks: The Road I’m On that Garth would not meet her and his daughters for 8-10 weeks at a time.
