Career of Osman Bukari Club

Osman Bukari’s first professional club in Europe was the Slovakian outfit AS Trenin. Bukari arrived with them in July 2018 from Accra Lions in his native Ghana. Bukari was one of his team’s top players for the two years he played football for Slovakia. He contributed to 25 other goals and 16 of his own in 66 games. He was recognized as Trenin’s top performer throughout the 2019–20 campaign and included in the league’s best XI. He was also one of the three finalists for the season’s best player.

Bukari was acquired by the Belgian team KAA Gent on September 4, 2020, as a result of his impressive performance in Slovakia. Bukari soon established himself as a regular starter for Gent after agreeing to a three-year contract with them. He competed for Gent in the UEFA Europa League group stage against Slovan Liberec, Red Star Belgrade, and Hoffenheim. He had four goals and six assists in 35 games with Gent.
