Mishael Morgan is a Trinidadian-Canadian actress best known for her roles in the films Night Cries (2015) and Casino Jack as well as the television series The Young and the Restless (2013–2020), Backpackers (2013), and Dark Rising: Warriors of Worlds (2010).

She was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2018 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on the CBS daytime serial opera The Young and the Restless.

On July 15, 1986, in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, Mishael Morgan was born under the name Marie-Charms Mishael Morgan. Mishael, the daughter of Michael and Sharon, has two sisters who go by the names of M. Maggris and Monique.

She spent her early years in both New York and her native city before her family moved to Toronto, Canada when she was five years old.

She earned a Political Science degree from York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2008. Later, at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, I completed an LLB program.

Navid Ali, a house inspector with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors certification, is married to Mishael Morgan (InterNACHI).

A son named Niam was born on August 9, 2015, and a daughter named Naliyah was blessed to the couple (born on 8th November 2018).

Career

At the age of 10, Mishael Morgan’s elementary school production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” ignited her fascination with acting. She didn’t pursue acting professionally, though, until she met David Ritchie in 2008, a year after she had her degree from York University. David persuaded her to pursue acting, and he later became her agent. She was given the idea by him, and after impressing the judges at her initial audition, she was given the part of Wonder Woman in Trey Songz’s song video.

After making brief appearances in the TV shows MVP and The Love Guru in 2008, she took on a recurring role as Robyn Crawford in The Best Years. The following year, she was cast as Tracy Dupont-Roymont in YTV’s Family Biz, earning her first significant and series regular role.

Her 2010 acting credits include Receptionist in the movie Casino Jack, Law Firm Receptionist in the TV movie Double Wedding, and Tamara in the short Verona. She played Maya in the 2011 film You Got Served: Beat the World, appeared in the 2012 film Awakening, and as Chandra O’Neill in the 2012 television series Republic of Doyle.

She worked on numerous projects in 2013. She played Maya in the television series Backpackers, Rachel Masterson in the drama series The Listener, and from 2013 to 2020, Hilary Curtis in the hit drama The Young and the Restless.

In addition, Mishael played Nancy in the television program Dark Rising: Warrior of Worlds, Jamie in the film Swearnet: The Movie and the Voodoo Witch Doctor in the movie Night Cries in 2014.
