Michelle Johnson, a fellow basketball fan and Milles’ longtime girlfriend, was married. Beginning in late 2015 or early 2016, the pair began dating.

Miles was described to as a “mamma’s boy” in a Detroit Free Press article from November 2017.

The story also stated that Cynthia wanted her son to be a “one and done” player so she could retire after 42 years of working as a hospital receptionist.
