In the American soap opera The Young and the Restless, Michael Mealor takes the role of Kyle Abbott to its conclusion. Jason Thompson accidentally leaked the information a few days ago, but Mealor made it official on July 13 with a social media announcement.

The fandom for The Young and the Restless was already agitated by Jason Thompson’s unwelcome admission that Michael Mealor had left the program. And now that Mealor’s exit from the program is inevitable, many fans must be inconsolable.

The actor added in his letter that he wanted to express his sincere gratitude to his crew and his fans for their support:
The last three and a half years has been a truly humbling and life changing experience. I wouldn’t have been here this long without the love and support y’all have shown me throughout every inch of this ride!
His friends and fans swamped the post with encouraging comments, and many of them wished him luck in his future endeavors. “It was a privilege and you are brilliant!” I’m excited to find out where you land next,” the actress Courtney Hope wrote.
