When Ross was hired as an Irish maid in a television program in 1953, her career officially got underway. The series’ name was Life with Father for Two Years.
She returned to the NBC sitcom in 1954 as Ginny Thorpe and then as Mary Williams. She made a comeback to ABC as a teacher in the sitcom The Donna Reed Show.
