WKYC reporter Laura Caso and her husband made an appearance on WKYC 3 morning news top stories, where they shared a long-kept secret.
What’s the Secret About?
The major news was kept a secret from Laura Caso viewers and fans, but she finally let slip that she and her husband David are expecting a baby boy.
On March 30, 2021, as she and her co-anchor, Russ Mitchel, were delivering the top stories, she made the momentous announcement on the set of WKYC.
Laura startled Russ with a tape from her small gender reveal event in Cleveland as he continued reading his screenplay about gender reveal trends. Therefore, the announcement surprised all of her viewers in addition to Russ.
By blowing blue-colored gender-revealing poppers, Laura and her husband in the TV-shared video clip disclosed the gender of their baby son.
Laura’s father recorded the exciting moment, and her parents’ voices could be heard in the backdrop of the video.
A day after the big reveal on television, Laura posted on Instagram to officially announce the news.
She posed with her spouse in her Instagram photo while holding blue balloons that represented the baby’s gender. She also added the following caption to the image:
“Oh my goodness, we’re happy! My favorite top story of all is the latest on our little guy. The largest and smallest secret we have ever held, and we are eternally thankful to him for it.”
She began displaying her baby bulge more frequently after publishing her first pregnancy post, and she is ecstatic to meet her baby son.
Who is Laura’s Husband?
David, a retired police officer, is married to Laura, who is 32. On May 25, 2019, the pair got married in Norfolk, Virginia.
Laura’s social media posts suggest that the two started dating around 2016.
Laura compared her romantic experience to “love at first sight.” Caso claimed that when she first spotted David wearing his police uniform, she quickly started up a discussion.
Without further ado, David also made a dinner invitation to her, and the rest is history. Since then, the couple has been enjoying their relationship.
Laura’s Family
The journalist and her family, in addition to her husband, have a very close relationship, as evidenced by the numerous family photos posted on her Instagram account.
She had a brother and a sister as siblings when she was growing up. Additionally, she frequently mentions her sister Daniela on her Instagram, and it appears that they are quite close.
