In high school, LaMonica Garrett participated in football. He attended a junior college in Los Angeles after graduating from high school and played linebacker there. Later, he was transferred to Ohio’s Central State University, where he continued to pursue his love of football. Although he was a good player, he was unable to realize his dream of playing in the NFL.
He chose his second hobby, acting, and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in it after his NFL ambition fell through. But he also ended up playing professionally in Slamball, a sport that combines football and basketball.
