Kim Nam Joon is a K-pop artist, rapper, composer, and record producer from South Korea. Kim Nam Joon is the main rapper and leader of the well-known hip-hop boy band Bangtan Boys (BTS).
Childhood and Early Life
Namjoon and RM are two nicknames for Kim Nam-Joon (formerly Rap Monster). He was born in Ilsan-gu, South Korea, on September 12, 1994. He will be 27 years old in 2022. His mother, father, and sister Kim Geong Min make up his family.
From an early age, RM learned English together with his mother by watching American Series “Friends”. He was captivated by uniforms in primary school and aspired to be a security guard in the future.
He had an image of a tidy and polite student before his debut. During his scholastic years, he was a top performer on the national school exam. He also had a 148 IQ and a TOEIC score of over 900.
As a student, RM regularly wrote poetry and was frequently recognized for his efforts. He garnered moderate recognition after posting his work on an online poetry website. RM became interested in a literary career as a result of this but later decided against it.

Kim Namjoon – Honors
Kim has performed on numerous occasions and has received multiple honors. BTS, RM’s band, became the first K-pop group to get a Billboard award.
They have won Billboard’s Top Social Artist Award three times in a row since 2017, defeating US favorites such as Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. Kim Namjoon appeared on the BBMAs with BTS.

Professional and professional life
Kim Namjoon began his music career as a solo underground artist under the stage name Runch Randa long before he became RM.
On June 12, 2013, he made his debut as a member of the hip-hop boy band BTS. He was also the first member to join BTS. Rapping, he said, helped him cope with the stress of his studies.
His debut single, ‘No More Dreams,’ was inspired by the days when he worked late into the night for his exams. RM has worked on all of BTS’s albums since his debut.
