At America’s Test Kitchen in 2000, the two got acquainted for the first time. When the show’s second season was being filmed, Ian was hired as a helper. Later, they began dating after falling in love. After a few years of dating, the couple made the decision to get married.

On June 22, 2003, Julia and Ian exchanged vows in front of a select group of friends and family members. On September 24, 2008, they gave birth to a girl they called Marta Davison.

The three-person family currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts.

Career

In 1999, Julia Collin Davison started her career working as a test cook for Cook’s Illustrated and America’s Test Kitchen. Later, she displayed her talent and made progress. She participated in other cooking shows in her spare time at the same time.
