Jordan was a freshman at Rufus King High School in Wisconsin.

Poole was named to the WBCA All-State Boys Basketball first team as a junior in 2016.
Poole later announced on July 1, 2016, that he would transfer from Rufus King to La Lumiere School in Indiana for his senior year.
