The viewers of the Garage Squad television program are accustomed to seeing Joe Zolper. Along with co-hosts Lauren Bohlander and Bruno Massel, he serves as the show’s primary mechanic, also referred to as the lead constructor. The squad chooses everyday individuals with “real projects automobiles” and provides them with specialized help. They demonstrate how to complete each owner’s DIY aspirational projects.
Owner and head mechanic of Prison City Choppers in Joliet, Illinois, Joe is the company. There, he has been honing his mechanic skills for more than 14 years. Additionally, he has primarily competed in drag racing since he was sixteen.

July 4th, 1977, saw the birth of Joe Zolper. His family is made up of mechanics. When he was younger, he repaired dirt motorcycles and assisted his father and brother with their cars. Joe is persuaded that he was a mechanic from birth for this reason.
He’d aspired to be a diesel mechanic since he was in third grade. He used to disassemble his toys to examine how they worked in reality. Furthermore, learning how to be more inventive with the tools at hand came from growing up on his grandfather’s farm.
Married Life With Wife
Joe Zolper and Jennifer (Jenny) Zolper, a businesswoman and skilled racecar driver, exchanged wedding vows in the year 2000. Jennifer’s involvement in the sport was one of the union’s many benefits that stemmed from her marriage to Joe. She began her career by using the funds from her wedding to purchase the 1971 black Dodge Demon, which she later restored with the aid of her family and friends.
In an interview with DRAGZINE on June 2, 2018, Jennifer discussed how racing cars have been a significant part of the Zolper family. Her words are:
Race cars can make or break a family, but in our case, they strengthen our bond and provide our daughter and us with invaluable life lessons.
Ruby Zolper is now Joe and Jennifer’s daughter. Ruby is a natural at racing cars, much like her parents. She started her junior dragster career in 2017 and finished second to the other junior dragsters in the 2018 Route 66 Awards. She received a trophy and a jacket as part of the prize.
The family was last seen on social media on January 18, 2020, when Joe revealed that his wife had been battling an infection since March 2019 due to knee surgery. She’s been confined to the sofa as a result for about a year as of this date.
