Canadian TV personality Jessi Cruickshank is best known for hosting a number of widely popular programs, including The Hills (2008), Live From E! (2013), Canada’s Smartest Person (2014–2015), and The Goods (2017-2018).
She also works as a comic writer for Hello Giggles and a correspondent on Etalk, Canada’s #1 entertainment program, in addition to her TV job.

On July 17, 1981, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Jessica Shaia Cruickshank was given the name Jessi Cruickshank. Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, was where she was raised. She went to Vancouver’s Point Grey Secondary School. She obtained a degree in English and Drama from the famous University of Toronto while simultaneously studying theater in London, England.
While Amanda Grace, Jessi’s older sister, works as a reporter and anchor at KING-TV in Seattle, her mother Joyce Resin is a former host of the CBC program Alive: The Picture of Health.
Married To Husband
Evan Gatica (m. 2016), an editor and producer well-known for his work on TV shows like The Face, Masterchef, The Boonies, and Battlebots, is the spouse of Jessi Cruickshank.
When Jessi was in New York to work on her audition tape for MTV’s host, the two fell in love. She met Evan, a former editor there, at the production company’s office there. Evan assisted with the video’s editing and lent her a camera for an hour so she could film at Times Square.
After a short period of time, Jessi was hired by MTV and went to Evan’s workplace to present him with a $10 iTunes gift card. At that point, Evan asked her out for dinner, and their first date took place at a little eatery in the Lower East Side.
But for the first two years of their relationship, the couple opted to continue being friends only. They started dating and soon had a solid relationship. Then, one day, Evan unexpectedly asked her to marry him in front of her entire family on Christmas morning.
Finally, after nine years of dating, they got married on June 28, 2016, at Big Daddy’s Antiques, a Los Angeles warehouse packed with gorgeous antique furniture and vintage neon signs. Jessi wore a gorgeous backless gown with vintage metal paillettes that Mark Zunino personally created for her on the wedding day.
Twins
Jessi Cruickshank and her husband, Evan Gatica, welcomed twins in August 2017 after three years of marriage.
She was informed, however, that her monochorionic identical twins ran the risk of developing Twin Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS), a disorder in which the placenta forms aberrant connections that impair the equal flow of blood and nutrients between twins.
However, the issue was corrected following successful surgery, and she gave birth to twins in September 2017.
