Janae started her career in the New Mexico theatrical scene. She made her debut appearance in an episode of Longmire, a crime thriller set in Wyoming. In 2013, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her film career full-time. She also worked as a waitress and bartender to help pay the bills and cover the costs of acting classes, headshots, and auditions.
