Who is Jamaal Franklin?

Jamaal Franklin is an American-born professional basketball player who currently plays for the Chinese Basketball Association’s Shanghai Sharks (CBA).

Growing up in Moreno Valley, Riverside County, California, Jamaal Franklin participated in three sports at first: basketball, football, and track and field, where he was a decent state high jumper.

The player was not a significant high school recruit because he was too skinny, wild, and streaky of a shooter to take a chance.

In 2009, he led the state of California in scoring and was ranked the 24th best shooting guard in the class.

Despite this, he evolved into one of the best scorers in the aftermath. Later, he played three seasons for a college basketball team and garnered a lot of attention before being drafted into the NBA’s massive parade.

He didn’t get much time to play in the NBA after being selected by the Memphis Grizzlies; he had a lot of assignments with the NBA G League’s team and mostly overseas.

Franklin traveled the world, primarily to China and then to Puerto Rico, and played with various teams during his on-and-off NBA career.

Furthermore, he exudes unwavering confidence; he’s a hungry and permissible scorer who creates a constant obstacle for opposing defenses by remaining in attack mode at all times.
