British actor Ian Midlane is well-known for his roles in a variety of films and TV shows. He first gained notoriety by making several appearances on the reality TV program Doctors as Dr. Al Haskey, Scrooge, and Brian Flannery. He joined the Doctors cast in 2005 as an honorary member, and since then, he has appeared in more than 900 episodes.

He is also known for playing Jeffrey in the 2007 television series The Sarah Jane Adventures and Derek in the 2009 television miniseries Hunter.

In addition to acting, he contributed to the Doctors TV series as a writer (in three episodes) and a member of the soundtrack (in two episodes).

He was nominated twice for his acting in Doctors, in 2013 and 2015, and he won a British Soap Award for it in 2018.

Ian Midlane was born on February 1st, 1976, in the suburbs of the United Kingdom.

He and his sister Toni Midlane were both raised by his parents. His sister works in the entertainment business as well and is well-known for playing Louise Burton in the Line of Duty TV series from 2012.

Additionally, Toni’s Tots Drama, which offers interactive drama and storytelling courses for preschoolers, is run by his sister. She also is in charge of Knees and Toes Theatre.

Ian Midlane began working in the entertainment business as a young child. He ultimately landed his first role after putting in a lot of effort and auditioning. In his first TV series, The Last Detective, which debuted in 2004, he played a fire officer.

He then appeared in two more television programs in 2014: Manhunt (as William Beggs) and My Dad’s the Prime Minister (as a policeman).
