Death of Grandma
Gracie’s grandmother, Aretha Franklin, was a fantastic singer who later had a number of health problems. She had been undergoing treatment for an unidentified tumor for a long time and was struggling because of it.
She subsequently received a pancreatic cancer diagnosis known as a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (pNET). She used to smoke and drink a lot, but she finally made the decision to stop since it was making her voice sound bad.
Her health forced her to postpone numerous of her tours and performances, in addition to a number of other obligations, while she underwent treatment and rehabilitation. She even said in 2017 that 2018 would be her final year of touring and postponed all of her 2018 engagements in response.
