Gage made the decision to become an actor when she was eight years old, and a year later, her goal came true when she was cast in the 2002 films Speakeasy and The Long Shot. She co-starred as Jesse Neumeyer in the science fiction miniseries Five Days to Midnight after a while.
Following her performance in the TNT series Heartland, she was given the opportunity to play Vanessa in the Disney Channel comedy The Suit Lie of Zack & Cody in 2006.
