In Stone Town, the British protectorate of Zanzibar, on September 5, 1946, Freddie Mercury was born as Farrokh Bulsara (now Tanzania). Bomi and Jer Bulsara were his parents. He is a citizen of Great Britain. He is of Parsi descent and was born.

On November 24, 1991, Freddie Mercury passed away at the age of 45, one day after making his public declaration. AIDS-related bronchial pneumonia was the declared cause of death.
