American journalist Erin Colton is presently an anchor for News 12 Long Island. The story of a Long Island man who beat drug and alcohol addiction by training for triathlons was featured in the television show. Erin tracked the man’s route up to Lake Placid, where he completed an Ironman race and accomplished his objective, and she reported on it.
