AD Tamayo is also Toby Tamayo’s nephew, a longtime group employee who assisted in managing a Butler-affiliated school in the Philippines. Toby works for a company that contributed to the operation of a school connected to Chris Butler, a yoga master and founder of a Hare Krishna offshoot.
Although Toby Tamayo’s father was indeed Gen. Antonio Tamayo, according to a report in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, it is not entirely clear if this Toby is Eduardo’s uncle Toby.

The strain on their relationship that resulted from Gabbard’s deployment at the time was one of the primary causes of their divorce. According to sources, the long deployment to Iraq of the United States Army Reserve officer proved to be too much for her first marriage.
As a result, when the United States invaded Iraq in the spring of 2003, she made a decision that shocked her political advisors. Gabbard enlisted in the Army National Guard of Hawaii. This was true even though her name had been omitted from the deployment list when her brigade visited Iraq in 2004.
