Films by director Edoardo Ponti are currently being produced in Canada, Italy, and the US. The first picture he both wrote and directed was Between Strangers. His parents had a good life by the time Edoardo was born. The parents had given up their Italian citizenship, so the family made their home somewhere between Geneva and Los Angeles.
When he met Sophia, Edoardo’s father was already married. All three parties had been compelled to take on French nationality in order for him to wed Sophia (in 1957) and secure a divorce from his first wife.

The American actress and writer Sasha, a mother of two, won the 2016 People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Cable TV Actress.” She is better recognized for her work on the TV shows Rizzoli & Isles and NCIS.
Before she had an accident, she was all set to compete in the Olympics as an ice skater. Edoardo affirmed that the tragedy had still made her incredibly resilient.
At the University of Southern California, where Sasha studied film, she first met Edoardo.
