Reza Jarrahy, a Los Angeles-based plastic surgeon who is best known as the ex-husband of actress Geena David, gained notoriety after filing for divorce from Geena in 2018 and dissolving their ten-year union.

Dr. Reza Jarrahy, who wed Geena in 2001, went to court and requested a divorce in 2018. According to a Dailymail report, the craniofacial surgeon listed irreconcilable differences as the cause of the split in the divorce papers he filed.
Additionally, the court documents confirmed that the couple had already separated months prior to filing for divorce.
Jarrahy and Geena have been married for 16 years and have three children together: Alizeh, Kian, and Kaiis. The doctor asked for shared custody of the kids and spousal support from Geena.

The surgeon afterward earned his medical degree from the State University of New York, and shortly after that, he enrolled in New York University’s general surgery residency program.
Jarrahy joined the UCLA plastic surgery faculty after completing his medical residency in 2007 and was accepted into the UCLA Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship. The doctor has currently worked at UCLA for more than fifteen years.
