David Wolf made his professional debut in 2007 after several seasons as an amateur. He began his career with ETC Crimmitschau in the 2nd Bundesliga, Germany’s second tier of hockey.
He appeared in 46 games for the squad at the time and had a 9-point season. Following that, he returned to ETC Crimmitschau and appeared in 36 games.
He has eight points and 120 penalty minutes during those games. Meanwhile, David was named to the German national junior squad in 2009.

The Return and NHL Debut
David Wolf received his first NHL call from the Calgary Flames on January 26, 2015. Moving on, he made his NHL debut in a win over the Edmonton Oilers.
