Chris Myers is an American sportscaster who has won Emmy Awards. He became well-known for his reportage of the 1989 World Series-time San Francisco earthquake.
He has covered a number of notable sports leagues during the course of his career as a sportscaster, including the Super Bowl, World Series, NFL, NBA, MLB, U.S. Open, Triple Crown, Final Four, and Daytona 500.
Chris, who is thought to be the first three-sport star, currently works for FOX Sports.

Chris Myers, real name Christopher Patrick Myers, was born on March 28, 1959, in the suburbs of Florida. He is an Aries by birth sign.
He has two brothers and two sisters, totaling four siblings. After his mother passed away from cancer, he was reared by himself. Sadly, on February 12, 2011, he lost his father, retired Navy officer Eugene T. Myers (born 5 November 1924).
The Florida International University accepted Chris as a student, and he later attended Miami Dade Community College. Radio and television are his areas of emphasis.

Susan Myers is the wife of Chris Myers. He lives in Southern California with his wife, son Alex Myers, and three rescue dogs.
When Christopher was only 19 years old, Chris and Susan lost him in a car crash on February 16, 2012; Christopher’s automobile had run off the road and crashed in Southern California. Chris and his wife kept three rescue dogs—a Jack Russell, a Chihuahua, and a mixed breed—as a way to carry on his son’s love of canines.
Career
In his senior year of high school, Chris Myers launched his broadcasting career by hosting his own program on Miami’s WKAT radio. He had the opportunity to interview numerous legendary athletes at that time, including Muhammad Ali and Don Shula.
Following that, he worked for several additional channels, including WWL-TV, WTVJ-TV, and WCIX-TV. He joined the ESPN network in 1988 when he was given the opportunity to host a number of programs including SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight. Later, Chris joined the Up Close interview show, for which he was even given an Emmy Award. Later, he made history by being the first person to interview O.J. Simpson live.
He worked for ESPN for five years before starting his employment with Fox Sports in 1998. He was given the opportunity to host the FOX Sports NASCAR Cup Series, the live DAYTONA 500, and many more programs in 2001. As the blow-by-blow announcer for FOX Sports’ Premier Boxing Champions in 2018, he also had the chance to cover some of the world’s best championship boxing contests. In addition, he had the opportunity to host a few FOX PBC Fight Nights and FOX PBC Pay-Per-View events.
He is still performing for FOX Sports as of right now.
