Cobb and Donald Faison wed on December 15, 2012, in a rustic-themed outdoor ceremony, after several years of dating.
Paige Appel, the wedding coordinator at Bash Please, remarked regarding the event’s theme,
“A backyard ceremony in the South was what Cacee really wanted. She want a cozy, homey atmosphere.”
Actor Jessica Simpson served as Cobb’s maid of honor, and actor Zach Braff served as Faison’s best man. Other well-known celebrities who attended the ceremony included Ashlee Simpson, Elisa Donovan, Stacey Dash, Sarah Chalke, and Seth Green.
Everyone became emotional at the sight of Cobb as she walked down the aisle with her father while wearing a stunning strapless sweetheart-necked fluffy white gown. When Cobb and Faison took wedding vows, the mood became even more delicate.
The wedding ceremony was followed by a gospel choir performance and a toast by Jessica and Zach. Kelly Harris, the event coordinator for Bash Please, gave a brief account of Jessica’s toast and cited,
“Jessica emphasized how long she and Cacee had been great friends and how delighted she is that Cacee is godmother to her daughter. She claimed Cacee’s like her soul mate.”
The wedding ended with all the guests on the dance floor vibing to the 80s music provided by the wedding band Get Down Boys.
Cobb and Faison’s Love Story
Making an anniversary post on Instagram in 2020, Cobb implied that she began dating Faison in 2006. Her caption read-
“One of our first pics together… 2006…in a club at 1:53 am. Who would have predicted 14 years later we’d be married, have kids, passed out by 10 pm, and shut down in a pandemic? Happy Anniversary… there’s no one else I’d rather be in a bar or in the trenches with than you. I adore you constantly. #happyanniversary”
On the exact day, Faison also took to his ‘gram to wish Cobb on their ninth wedding anniversary and said,
“…14 1/2 years together. 8 years of marriage. And 2 kids later I’m still so very in love and pleased we said I do. You’re the love of my life. And I adore picturing the two of us when I look at Rocco and Wilder.”
After all these years of togetherness, the pair still enjoy a strong friendship and continue to display their love towards each other through their sweet ‘gram posts.
Further, the couple received their firstborn Rocco in 2013 and later made an addition to the family with daughter Wilder, born in 2015.
