Brooke Lyons, an actress, has had scoliosis since she was a little child. She had a disease that weakened her spine and backbones, so she had to wear a back brace while she was in school.
Later, she underwent surgery to treat the illness, but she was unable to fulfill her dream of becoming a ballet dancer. Before being given the diagnosis, she had even studied dancing at a number of studios, including the Joffrey Ballet School of the Dance and the New England Ballet School in Connecticut.
