How Did Her Brother Cameron Boyce Die?
Maya’s brother Cameron was found dead at his North Hollywood home on Saturday, July 6, 2019, by the police. The 20-year-old family member later admitted that he had epilepsy before dying.
Boyce’s family later issued a statement explaining that their son had died in his sleep as a result of a seizure brought on by a chronic condition for which he was receiving treatment.
The precise cause of death, however, was proving difficult to determine according to the autopsy and initial investigation reports.
Everyone concluded that the actor from Eagle Eye had an epileptic seizure and died as a result. They said that Cameron’s ailment has been determined to be epilepsy. Cameron was only 20 years old when he died.

The 20-year-old theater major claimed that her older brother was “Happy” just hours before he passed away.
She went on to say that being with him in the final hours of his life was natural and enjoyable. The actress, model, and social worker described her brother’s happiness. Maya claimed that having experienced Cameron Boyce’s love for 17 years was the most beautiful gift she had ever been given.
She further asserted that her brother had said anyone with a voice has the right to use it to advocate for change; her brother, however, did not take that statement lightly.

In July 2019, nine days after the passing of their cherished family member, Maya and her parents founded the Cameron Boyce Foundation to continue his work and honor his legacy.
