Bob Harper is a writer and personal trainer from the United States. He appears as one of the trainers on The Biggest Loser, a reality competition show that pits obese or overweight contestants against one another to see who can lose the most weight relative to their starting weight in order to win the cash prize.
In addition to being on the first three seasons of the Australian version of the series, he started his career in reality television with the program in 2004.

Bob Harper was given the name Robert L. Harper when he was born on August 18, 1965, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Heart disease ran deep in his family tree. One was discovered in his parents before they turned fifty and sixty, respectively. His mother suffered a heart attack and passed away ten years later, at the age of 70. Despite all the exercises, his grandfather too passed away from heart disease and high cholesterol.
Bob experienced a heart attack at the age of 52 that was nearly fatal, continuing a family tradition. He bounced back from the “life-changing experience,” nevertheless, and made the decision to use it to his advantage by taking up the cause of heart attack sufferers and survivors.
Coming Out Gay
When Bob Harper was seventeen years old, he told his family that he was gay. To support then-contestant Bobby Saleem, who was battling to come out to his father, he chose to keep it a secret from the general public until a 2013 episode of The Biggest Loser.
Engaged: Boyfriend!
On June 28, 2019, Bob Harper and Anton Gutierrez announced their engagement.
He posted pictures of their matching gold panther bands on Instagram, showing them both wearing them on their left ring fingers.
A few days later, the pair celebrated the LGBTQ+ community by attending 2019 Pride Month events in New York City over the course of the weekend.
Since at least 2016, Bob and Anton have been dating. They were last seen on social media on February 14, 2020.
