For his part as “Eric Beale” in the Primetime Emmy-nominated criminal drama series NCIS: Los Angeles, American actor Barrett Foa is well-known. My Synthesized Life, Entourage, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and Numb3rs are just a few of his previous television appearances.

Along with that, he has established a reputation for himself by playing the lead in hit jukebox musical “Mamma Mia!,” which is based on the songs of “ABBA,” as well as Broadway plays like “Avenue Q” and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

Claims To Be Gay

He first revealed his sexual orientation to the public in a post on Instagram in February 2020. In the article, he discussed his experience acting as a homosexual in the Will & Grace television series episode The Pursuit of Happiness. He also mentioned how happy he was to have a same-sex kiss on screen because he is also gay in real life.

He noted:

“Tonight I will guest star on one of my favorite shows of all time. Tonight I will kiss a man on national broadcast television and not be embarrassed or scared or ashamed in a way that my younger, dumber, more inner-homophobic self would have been. Tonight I am an out, proud gay man playing an out, proud gay man. Tonight I get to be a part of something big and hilarious and significant and influential and ground breaking and ridiculous and fantastic and silly and important. Tonight I am one step closer to myself.”

He also acknowledged a few friends who have consistently encouraged him and made him feel proud of who he is at the end of his message, saying,

“Thank you to Max Mutchnick, Sean Hayes, Scotty Icenogle, Eric McCormack and Laura Bell Bundy for helping this moment come into existence.”

Married Or Dating A Partner?

Barrett is married to a woman even though he came out as gay or homophobic.

Yes! Lauren Gray is the name of his wife. By posting a photo of himself and Lauren on Instagram in December 2019, he announced the wedding. He stated in the post,

“We just wanted a simple ceremony. #married #sunrisesunset #chuppah #mexico…”

His marriage to a woman after coming out as gay has further divided his supporters. A couple of his Instagram followers even questioned him about the legitimacy of the wedding announcement on the same post. However, the NCIS LA actor has not yet spoken out to address the predicament his fans are currently facing.
