Kurt Busch, a well-known American stock racing car driver, wed Ashley Van Metre at the Eden Rock hotel in St. Barts in a destination wedding. The wedding was officiated by Ashley’s great-uncle, United Church of Christ priest Albert G. Cohen, on January 7, 2018, in front of 30 intimate friends and family members.
On January 14, 2018, one week later, they also held their wedding celebration in Palm Beach, Florida. The six-foot-tall wedding cake and a surprise performance by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith were “show-stopping” moments of the two-part celebrity wedding.
The bride could not stop raving about her wedding planner, Jennifer Zabinski, when she later reflected on her big day. She said,
“She was absolutely amazing and really made our dream vision a reality. Kurt and I were on the same page for 90% of all the decisions we had to make, so the process was very smooth.”
