Angie Harmon is an actress and model from the United States who has acted in a number of films and television shows throughout the years. She began her career as a professional model before branching out into acting after achieving international acclaim.
In 1995, she made her acting debut on the television series ‘Baywatch Nights.’ She’s also done voice work, lending her voice to an animated version of the film “Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.”
Harmon decided to focus solely on films in the early 2000s, leaving TV programs behind. She returned to performing in TV shows after appearing in a few films. Professional Career
- Angie Harmon went to Los Angeles in the mid-1990s and began her acting career. On a plane in 1995, she was ‘discovered’ by producer David Hasselhoff. He offered her the lead role in the ‘Baywatch Nights’ spin-off detective series.
- She also appeared in shows such as ‘Baywatch’ and the short-lived drama ‘C-16,’ in which she played an FBI agent. Her first film, ‘Lawn Dogs,’ was released in 1997, and it was an independent film in which she collaborated with Sam Rockwell.
- In 1998, she appeared on the award-winning show ‘Law & Order’ as Assistant District Attorney Abbie Carmichael. She’s also appeared in a couple of episodes of ‘Law & Order: SVU.’ She later voiced the Joker in the animated film “Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.”
