Angel decided to take on the role of Gwen, a young woman who subsequently rose to become Queen Guinevere, in the fantasy television series Merlin on BBC One in September 2008. Angel appeared until December 2008 in the series.
She then played the title character, Laura Roebuck, in the television series The Tunnel. The program later went on to win a number of honors, including the Broadcasting Press Guild Award and the International Emmy Award.

It appears like Angel is dating her co-star Bradley based on the image and the caption. When they are frequently seen together at film and television events, the idea that they are having an affair grows stronger.
