The radio talk show Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer, on which the two hosts discuss everything from pop culture to romantic relationships, is hosted by American television host and radio celebrity Alexis Stewart. Whatever, Martha, named after Alexis’s mother Martha Stewart, was given a second season renewal.

On September 27, 1965, in New York City, Alexis Gilbert Stewart was given the name Alexis Stewart. Her parents, Martha Stewart and Andrew Stewart, who wed in 1961 and later divorced in 1990, have only ever had her. Her mother is Martha, a convicted felon who also runs a retail business and is a writer, television personality, and former model.
Alexis’s Relationship With Parents
Her mother wasn’t always the best mother when she was a child.
A significant portion of Alexis’ book, Whateverland: Learning to Live Here, which she co-wrote with her co-host from her radio and television program, was about her family, particularly her mother.
It was like growing up with a “glue gun pointing at my head,” Alexis admitted. Despite her mother’s legendary reputation as an expert cook, she found that the holidays were not particularly joyful and that there was never anything to eat at home. If she didn’t do something perfectly, she had to do it again.
The mother-daughter connection, meantime, is claimed to have significantly improved recently.
Alexis and her father, though, are still at odds with one another. Since 1988, she hasn’t spoken with him. At some time, Alexis showed how much worse she felt about him by turning to New York Magazine. As Alexis put it:
He was a d*** in many ways. Monetarily. Emotionally. And he was creepy to me. He’s just creepy.
Her father, Andrew, acknowledged that he and his ex-wife failed to raise her well because they were “totally immersed in other things.”
Wedding; Divorce With Husband
In her “infamous” legal battle involving stock trading, Alexis Stewart’s mother hired John Robert Cuti as one of her trial attorneys. The couple wed on September 26, 1997.

Sadly, Alexis and her John reportedly split up in June 2003 and decided to get divorced in 2004. In the same year, she claimed they were “excellent friends” on Larry King Live despite being estranged.
Children
Jude Stewart, a daughter born on March 8, 2011, and Truman Stewart, a son, is Alexis Stewart’s two children (born on 7th March 2012). Both children were delivered through surrogacy.
She struggled to conceive for five years before thinking about surrogacy. In the process, she underwent a number of unsuccessful IVF procedures and miscarriages, even shelling out $27,000 per month for in-vitro fertilization treatment plus an additional $6,000.
